As healthcare providers, Parisa and Amir randomly met each other at a hospital’s emergency department in California. Their serendipitous connection unfolded as Amir admitted a patient, unknowingly becoming the focus of Parisa’s admiration. Captivated by his caring, calm, and kind attitude, Parisa fell in love.
Their first date was a casual hike to Palm Springs Aerial Tramway on January, 2018. They had their first kiss up in the mountain on the first date. Sharing a mutual passion, they traveled worldwide together and strengthened their bond since then. Amir proposed to her on the beautiful island of Turk and Caicos on December, 2020. The proposal, a testament to Amir’s thoughtfulness and the couple’s shared love for exploration, set the stage for the following grand celebration.
Parisa always envisioned a destination wedding, where she could travel with their families and friends and have a few-day celebration with loved ones. Amir wanted a small and intimate wedding but modern and elegant. Together, they looked at multiple countries and regions for a venue with a spectacular view, greenery, water, great weather, and rich culture. Every time, all the choices ended up being Italy, as they both love everything about it – food, culture, people, designs, nature, and vibe.
Parisa and her mom made a trip to Italy and checked out all the venues in Lake Como. Their meticulous search for the perfect venue led them to Villa Bonomi. It provided an exclusive and romantic setting with modern elegance and aristocratic charm. The lush green mountains, the sparkling waters, and the historic town of Como in the distance created a captivating panorama—an ideal canvas for Parisa and Amir to paint their love story.
The air in the luxurious bridal room of Villa Bonomi was filled with anticipation and excitement. On the enchanting ritual of getting ready for her big day, Parisa, with her heart full of love, started her transformation into a bride.
From the bride: “Carrying the two bridal dresses and groom’s suits throughout the airports from Los Angeles and packing all the wedding essentials and details into carry-on suitcases was not easy. However, we got so many congratulations and best wishes along the way. They made us a priority in the security lines and the main cabin. In the end, it was a fun, memorable experience.”
In the morning hours, Parisa’s bridesmaids surrounded her in a joyful chorus of laughter and celebration. With the effervescence of champagne bubbles, they shared in the excitement, creating a lively and heartwarming atmosphere.
Parisa’s mom, a beacon of support and love, added a touch of maternal grace to the bustling room, ensuring every detail was attended to with utmost care. The bridesmaids, adorned in beautiful dresses, stood as a testament to the bonds forged over the years, sharing this magical day’s excitement.
Parisa’s wedding gown was a breathtaking masterpiece, a creation from the renowned Galia Lahav. The gown, with its intricate lace detailing and ethereal train, accentuated Parisa’s grace and beauty. Complementing the gown were Parisa’s carefully chosen shoes from Jimmy Choo, an elegant pairing that added a dash of modern glamour to her bridal ensemble.
Meanwhile, the groom was getting ready for the cherished moment in another corner of Villa Bonomi.
The air was charged with the resonance of clinking glasses and the subtle rustle of ties being fastened. Dressed in impeccably tailored suits, each groomsmen stood as a pillar of support, mirroring the solidarity that had defined their friendship.
The ceremony unfolded on the grounds of Villa Bonomi, a picturesque setting that showcased the ethereal beauty of Lake Como as the backdrop to Parisa and Amir’s sacred union. Eager anticipation filled the atmosphere as guests awaited the moment when the couple would exchange their heartfelt vows. The air buzzed with a harmonious fusion of Persian traditions and Italian charm.
Parisa made her elegant entrance to the ceremony, supported by her father and mother.

Advice from the couple:
• The big day you have been preparing for months/years will go by quickly and feel like a blink of an eye! REALLY! For this reason, we set our start time at 1600. But even then, there were so many things that we couldn’t get to do because the day ended fast. So, try not to pay attention to the little details that go wrong at the last minute; just breathe and enjoy your day.
